Terms

Terms of use

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These terms govern access to LifArcs, published by M2S CONSULTING SERVICES. Creating an account, browsing, or using a feature (follow, claim, report) means you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The French version prevails. French law. Courts in the jurisdiction of the Versailles Court of Appeal (registered office in Clichy), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

1. Publisher and documents

Publisher: M2S CONSULTING SERVICES, French limited liability company (SARL), RCS Nanterre 938 799 673, 19 rue Alexandre Antonini, 92110 Clichy, France. Legal notice: /legal. Privacy: /privacy.

These terms, the legal notice and the privacy policy are the contract. Marketing pages yield to these terms; the privacy policy prevails on data questions.

2. What the service is — not a network of posts

LifArcs lets you view, follow and, where applicable, keep an “Arc”: a structured life (past, present, future) for people, public figures, creators, companies, associations, institutions and teams.

LifArcs is not a service for posts, statuses or comment threads. The Home and Following feeds are filled automatically when an Arc’s life changes: a new chapter, a present update, an event, a milestone. You do not need to “post” for something to appear. Only that item’s visibility (private, followers, public) decides whether it is shown.

This is core: following an Arc means being told about visible life updates, not a stream of messages written for a feed.

3. Access and eligibility

Public Explore and public Arcs are open. An account is required to follow, use lists and claim a page.

You must be at least 15 and able to contract. The Service is not for anyone under 15. A violating account may be closed.

Registration information must be accurate. One personal Arc per natural person, unless we agree in writing to a duly authorised representative.

4. Account, security, termination

You are responsible for your credentials and for activity on the account. Report unauthorised access to mehdi@mtougui.com.

You may delete the account in settings. Deleting the auth user deletes the linked personal Arc. We may keep what the law requires, for as long as needed.

We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breach, infringement, security risk, a legal order, or prolonged inactivity after reasonable notice where possible.

5. Catalog pages compiled from public sources

LifArcs may publish Arcs on its own initiative before anyone holds them (“catalog” or “unclaimed” pages). They are compiled from publicly available information: official sites and documents, press, open registers, encyclopaedias, public pages, open databases and other well-known sources.

A catalog page is not a statement by the person or entity. It is not a mandate, partnership or identity check until “claimed” or “verified” is shown. The on-page disclaimer is part of the Service.

We aim to inform, not to copy works. Publicly established facts, dates and roles may be reused. Long-form text, photographs, logos and protected content are used only with a right (licence, legal exception, or supply by a rights holder). Image and copyright takedowns are reviewed first.

Using a name, mark or sign to identify the subject of their page is not a separate commercial exploitation of that sign.

Sources can be incomplete or wrong. LifArcs does not warrant accuracy, completeness or currency of the catalog. The remedy is correction or removal, not damages for a mere inaccuracy from a public source, except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

6. Claim, verification, representation

The person concerned or their representative (agent, company, guardian, corporate body) may request control of the page. LifArcs may ask for identity or mandate evidence solely to handle the request.

“Verified” is not self-assigned. LifArcs grants it after review. Impersonation, false claims and fake badges are forbidden and may lead to account removal and a report.

After an accepted claim, the holder is responsible for content they enter or keep. Previously compiled items may be kept, corrected or removed under settings and these terms.

7. Your content (personal Arc)

You keep your rights in content you enter. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the term of those rights to host, reproduce, display and technically adapt that content in the Service, according to the visibility you choose, including to feed automatically the people who follow you.

The licence ends when you delete the content or the account, subject to short-lived technical copies, legal duties, and content already lawfully seen by others (for example an update already shown in a feed, for the cache period).

You warrant that your content does not infringe others (privacy, image, IP, secrecy, defamation) and that you may publish it at the visibility you choose.

8. Automatic feed, following, lists

By following an Arc, you agree to receive in Home / Following that Arc’s visible life updates, generated by the system, with no separate post.

You may organise lists. Lists are private.

LifArcs may delay, group, filter or omit an update for technical, visibility, security or legality reasons.

9. Prohibited conduct

You must not, among other things:

  • publish or cause the compilation of illegal content: hate, harassment, child sexual abuse material, extreme violence, terrorism, clear copyright theft;
  • impersonate someone or claim a page without standing;
  • inject another person’s sensitive data without a legal basis;
  • bulk-extract the Service (abusive scraping, a competing database) beyond normal viewing;
  • bypass security, run unauthorised bots, introduce malware;
  • sell fake engagement or mislead about a verification badge.

10. Moderation, reports, DSA

For user content, M2S CONSULTING SERVICES is a host: no general monitoring duty, and it may remove or disable access to manifestly illegal content once it has actual knowledge (French LCEN; DSA).

For catalog pages it compiles, it is a publisher: it may correct, add context, delist or remove on its own initiative.

Reports: Report and Request a correction in the Service, or mehdi@mtougui.com. Repeated abusive reports may be limited.

Right of reply: a person named may request insertion of a reply under LCEN article 6-IV, at mehdi@mtougui.com.

11. Intellectual property and third-party signs

LifArcs, the design and the software are ours or our licensors’. No substantial extraction of the database.

Marks, logos and names of people and organisations remain theirs. They appear to identify the subject.

12. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We aim for reasonable availability, without a warranty of uninterrupted service, compilation error or complete public sources.

We are not liable for decisions taken solely on a catalog page (hiring, journalism, due diligence). Check other sources.

For professional users, our aggregate yearly liability is capped at the higher of (i) amounts you paid us for the Service in the previous twelve months (currently nil if the Service is free) and (ii) one hundred euros, except gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or other cases where the law forbids a cap.

For consumers, unfair limitations under the Consumer Code are void. Liability is not capped for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Free service, changes, ads

The Service is currently offered without payment and without advertising. Paid options or advertising may be introduced later, separate from the catalog, after notice.

We may change features, including how the feed is generated, so long as it remains a life-update feed and not a post network, unless these terms change.

14. Consumers and DSA

If you are a consumer, mandatory Consumer Code rights apply where they apply, including for a free digital service.

Disputes: write to mehdi@mtougui.com. You may also use the EU online dispute platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or the competent courts.

Authority contact (DSA): mehdi@mtougui.com.

15. Law, evidence, changes

French law. Computer records and logs are evidence unless proven otherwise.

We may change these terms. The date at the top applies. Continued use after they take effect is acceptance, except where the law requires separate consent. If you refuse, stop using the Service and delete the account.

Material changes: account email and/or in-product notice. Contact: mehdi@mtougui.com, 19 rue Alexandre Antonini, 92110 Clichy, France.
