Tell your life in three times: past, present, future
Why structuring life as past / present / future helps you understand yourself and share a clear story — the LifArcs method.
Memories arrive in a jumble. So do projects. Without structure, you feel like you’ve “done nothing” — or everything blurs together. Past / present / future isn’t literary flourish: it’s a clarity tool.
Past: chapters and places
The past becomes readable when you sort it into chapters and attach places and moments. You don’t need exhaustiveness: a reader (or you in six months) should understand where you come from.
Present: the current season
Present isn’t “today at 2pm”. It’s the season: what you’re doing, learning, and where you stand. A good present description avoids a frozen CV trap.
Future: intention before calendar
An over-dated future becomes anxious. Start with intention and one or two goals. Dates come later, when useful.
That’s the heart of LifArcs: a life Arc in three times, not a network of posts. You describe, you highlight, you share what you want.
